The Cutting Edge Chemicals Smooth Paint & Seal kit combines COATED car shampoo 1L, FINALE spray paint sealant 1L, a Purple Medium 200g clay bar, a plush wash mitt and a premium drying towel. Use it to wash paint, remove bonded contamination with lubrication and apply a finishing sealant.

Your detailing routine

1. Wash thoroughly with COATED at 50mL per bucket, using the plush mitt. Rinse away all loose dirt.
2. On clean paint, use the Purple Medium clay bar with plenty of suitable clay lubricant. Work gently in small sections and keep the surface wet. Knead to reveal a clean face and discard the clay if dropped.
3. Rinse and dry with the Premium Drying Towel.
4. On cool, clean, dry paint, apply 2–3 sprays of FINALE to a clean microfibre cloth, spread over a small area and buff with a second clean cloth.

Before you start

Clay lubricant and separate application/buffing cloths are required and are not included. The clay-bar directions recommend SNOW WASH as lubricant; follow its label. Claying can remove existing wax or sealant. FINALE is intended for compatible painted surfaces, not matte finishes.

Work in the shade on cool surfaces. Do not let cleaning products dry on the vehicle. Patch-test first, wear protection as directed on the bottle and follow the individual product labels.

Questions about this kit

Is clay lubricant included in this kit?

No. You need suitable clay lubricant before using the clay bar. The clay-bar directions recommend SNOW WASH; follow its label and never clay dry paint.

Will the clay bar remove scratches?

A clay bar is for bonded surface contamination, not scratch removal or paint correction. Keep it lubricated, use light pressure and discard it if dropped.

Is FINALE suitable for matte paint?

No. This pack's FINALE finishing step is intended for compatible gloss painted surfaces. Do not use it on matte finishes.
